Questions and answers
Which course should I take?
Choose the course that matches your role: GCP for Ethics Committee Members (ethics committee members and member secretaries); GCP for Investigators (principal investigators and sub-investigators); GCP for Clinical Research Coordinators (clinical research coordinators and site staff); GCP for Clinical Research Associates (clinical research associates and monitors). If your role spans more than one, pick the one closest to your day-to-day decisions, or contact us for advice.
How long does a course take?
Each course is about 48 h of planned study, including tests. It is self-paced, so you can spread it over weeks or months. Lessons are short and you can stop and resume at any time.
Is there a time limit for finishing?
Your access period is shown when you enrol. If you need more time, contact us.
How do I pay?
Payment is by UPI. After you pay, we verify the payment and open the course for you. You will be told when your access is ready.
How am I assessed?
There is an ungraded pre-test, a short test at the end of each unit, a graded role-based capstone and a final exam of 75 questions (pass mark 80%). Many questions are scenario-based.
What happens if I do not pass a test?
Unit tests and the final exam allow a limited number of attempts, with time to review the relevant lessons in between. The course page shows the exact rules for each course.
What certificate do I receive?
When you pass every component you receive a certificate of completion with a unique ID that anyone can check on our verification page. It is valid for 3 years.
Is CRACAD accredited or approved by a regulator?
No. CRACAD is an independent training provider and does not claim any accreditation, regulatory approval or third-party recognition. Check with your institution, ethics committee or sponsor about which GCP training they accept.
Which documents are the courses based on?
ICH E6(R3) Good Clinical Practice, the New Drugs and Clinical Trials Rules 2019, and the ICMR National Ethical Guidelines for Biomedical and Health Research Involving Human Participants 2017.
Can my institution enrol a group?

A recent web browser on a computer, tablet or phone, and an internet connection. Lessons are in English.
